We had a fantastic stay here - the hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect, being near the town centre and opposite the sea. The breakfasts were delicious and set us up for exploring the North Exmoor area for a couple of days over Easter.

Waterloo House is a wonderful gem in the heart of Lynton. I have to mention the friendly owner and staff who truly embody old-fashioned service. They were attentive, welcoming, and always ready to help. Secondly, the hotel's attention to detail is impressive, from the comfortable and immaculate rooms to the beautiful decor throughout the house. The owners' commitment to sustainability is also commendable, with local produce showcased in the delicious and brilliant breakfast. Lastly, the hotel's location is perfect, with everything in Lynton easily accessible. The owners' passion for walking ensures that guests have ample opportunities to explore the stunning surroundings.
All aspects were well-catered for, leaving no room for improvement.

The hotel was a great place to spend New Year's Eve. The breakfast was great with a good range of options to choose from. The hotel was located in a great spot with plenty of places to visit nearby. The owners were really welcoming, making us feel right at home. The room had an excellent view of the stunning area and was well equipped with everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel was a bit pricey for what it offered. The decor in some areas could be updated and modernized, making the hotel feel fresher and more inviting.
